One of the questions we’re frequently asked is if it’s okay to charge learners for access to the courses you create in Rise. The answer? You bet it is!
Selling Rise Courses
So, how do you start charging for Rise courses? It’s a simple three-step process.
Choose a trusted third-party solution to collect learner information and process payments (if you already have an e-commerce solution to collect payments from your learners, you can use that).
When a learner requests to purchase your course, direct them first to your payment solution. At a minimum, they’ll need to provide an email address.
Using the information gathered, invite new learners to your Rise site.
Once invited, learners will have access to all of the content on your site, including courses in the Library. If you’d like your learners to be able to only access courses in which they’re enrolled, you can control Library visibility on a course-by-course basis.
One last thing. While we’re okay with you charging for courses in Rise, we can’t provide support for third-party vendors.

FAQ
Is it OK to sell courses that use real content templates?
Yes, but there are a few things to keep in mind:
Courses based on or containing real content templates have to remain as Rise courses.
Next Big Idea Club videos must be presented in the special video blocks we've created for them, with the attribution and links intact.
Taking it one step further, presenting any of the real content videos or Content Library assets outside of a Rise course is a violation of our Terms of Service.
