Rise works with most modern browsers. See this article for all Rise tech specs.

Is my data safe in the cloud?

Yes. We’re serious about security. Rise services are hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and replicated across separate and highly secure locations. Using PKCS (Public Key Cryptography Standard) #1 SHA-256 with 2048-bit RSA encryption, Rise encrypts data at rest as well as all network traffic into and out of AWS.

Rise has strong default settings and also gives you the option to authenticate with Google or require single sign-on (SSO) powered by SAML 2.0, built on Okta. Check out our white paper for details.

As part of our business continuity plans, in case of disaster, we practice routine data backup and recovery, backing up our data several times a day. We store backups in a redundant way and test recovery frequently to reduce the likelihood of data loss and minimize downtime in a large-scale disaster.

Rise complies with AICPA SOC2, California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Privacy Shield, and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) standards.
