How to find library content and add it to your favorites

Accessed via the Browse Library button in the top-right corner, the library is where your organization’s content lives. Here you can browse available courses and learning paths, see what’s assigned to you, and find new content to save to your favorites. 

Click the close icon at the top right to return to the tab you were using.

Search and Sort Library Content

Between premium content and your team creating its own courses and learning paths, your library will grow quickly. Rather than scroll through lists, here’s how to tame the library so you can quickly find what you need.  

Search for Content

The search bar at the top of the page is the easiest way to find courses and learning paths quickly. Enter a course title (or what you remember of one) in the search field and click a result to launch the content. Clear your search term to return to the full library list.

Sort Library Content

Content in the library is sorted by the date it was published or last updated, with more recent courses and learning paths at the top of the list. Use the drop-down menu on the far right to sort by title instead. 

Filter Library Content

Searching and sorting not giving your the options you're looking for? No problem! Head over to the sidebar for filtering options.

Filter by Source

When premium content sources are enabled, you have the option to filter the library by specific sources. Select your team name, Rise, Next Big Idea Club, or any combination of the three. Only content from those sources is displayed.

Filter by Type

By default, all types of content are displayed. Select either Courses or Learning Paths from the drop-down menu to display one content type or the other.

Filter by Author

By default, content from all authors in your organization is visible. Use the drop-down menu to filter the library for a specific author’s content. Simply select an author from the list or type a name in the search field. 

Filter by Topic

If your organization uses topics, you’ll see them listed in the sidebar (arranged by the amount of content assigned to that topic, most to least). Select each one to browse courses and learning paths assigned to that topic. If something doesn’t have an assigned topic, it displays only if you don't have a topic selected.

Add Content to Favorites

See a course or learning path you’d like to save for later? Simply add it to your favorites by clicking the heart icon on the title card.

Unlisted Content

Can’t find something in the library, but you see it in your Learn tab? That’s because it’s visible only to enrolled learners (like you!). The only place you can access unlisted content is on the Learn tab. 

If you’re looking for content that you think should be in the library but isn’t, it might be unlisted or in a different library. Contact your Rise administrator for assistance.
