We support the following browsers in their respective operating systems for authoring and viewing responsive Rise courses.

Browsers for Authoring Courses and Managing Your Team

These browsers are supported on laptop and desktop computers. Touchscreen authoring isn’t supported.

Windows

  • Google Chrome (latest version)—best experience

  • Firefox (latest version)

  • Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based, latest version) 

Mac

  • Google Chrome (latest version)—best experience

  • Safari (latest version)

  • Firefox (latest version) 

Browsers for Viewing Courses

You can view courses on any devices that support these browsers. This includes mobile devices such as iPhones, iPads, and Android-enabled phones and tablets.

Windows

  • Google Chrome (latest version)

  • Firefox (latest version) 

  • Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based, latest version)

Mac

  • Google Chrome (latest version)

  • Safari (latest version)

  • Firefox (latest version) 

Mobile

  • Safari in Apple iOS/iPadOS (latest version)

  • Google Chrome (latest version) in Apple iOS/iPadOS (latest version)

  • Google Chrome (latest version) in Android OS 6 or later

Required Browser Settings for Viewing Courses

  • JavaScript must be enabled in learners’ browsers for published courses to work.

  • Font downloads must be enabled to see the correct fonts and characters.
